NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Our next meeting will be Friday, Nov. 9th, at 7:45am or 3:30pm in the Lecture Hall. Please bring your $10 for dues if you haven’t paid them.

PROJECT CELEBRATION FUNDRAISER

Pancake breakfast… this Saturday at Applebee’s on Rufe Snow from 8am to 10am. It is an all you can eat breakfast with pancakes, sausage, and a drink for $5. Tickets can be pre-purchased and they will be on sale in the cafeteria./hallway on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. Tickets will also be sold at the door that morning.

BPA Needs You!!!

We need members and we need officers. This year’s theme is FIND YOUR FIT. The final destination is Reno, Nevada, for the National Leadership Conference. Let’s GO TO RENO!!!

Come to the Business Professionals of America meeting on Thursday, November 8th at 7:45am and 3:30pm in Room A201 and learn about ALL THE GREAT POSSIBILITIES!!!

NEEDLEWORK

The needlework club will meet Thursday afternoon in C104. Beginners are welcome.

CHRISTMAS PROVIDERS

Every year, we provide 150+ boxes to the “less fortunate” kids at our feeder schools filled with various, everyday items that are needed. We want to be able to provide for these kids again but in order to do so we need everyone’s help.

We are asking for simple, everyday items, that are easy to bring and cheap to buy. The items for this week are: SOAP & SHAMPOO.

Last week as socks and washcloths… you can still bring those as well.

CAN FOOD DRIVE

Birdville is having a canned food drive against Fossil Ridge. Last year we lost but we have a chance of winning this year. The end date is Nov. 8th… bring your cans to your 3rd period. The class with the most cans wins a party! WE HAVE TO WIN!!!

CHARACTER COUNTS CLUB

Meeting this Thursday, Nov. 8th, 7:55am or 3:30pm in Room C202.

S.A.G.A.

S.A.G.A. Hall Decorating Day – November 10th, 2pm to 4pm @ BHS. Come help us decorate the halls with peaceful posters and displays! Bring any pictures/fabric/paint or craft supplies you have. For more info call: 817-781-4364

FCA

There is an FCA meeting this week, on Friday, the 9th. It is in ART LAB 3 at 7:45am. Hope to see everyone there.

HIGH ON LIFE

There is a meeting before school tomorrow at 7:45am in Mrs. Gomez’s room (B201). For those who can’t attend the morning meeting, there will be an afternoon meeting at 3:30pm on Thursday in Mrs. Gomez’s room. Hope to see you there!

END ZONE RAFFLE WINNER!!!

This week’s end zone raffle winner was our very own Assistant Principal, Mr. Waldmann! Because of the great qualities Mr. Waldmann posseses, he has decided to give away his prize to a very deserving student. Who will that student be? You’ll find out from Mr. Waldmann if you are the lucky student!
