GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUT INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Today, Nov. 13th, in the Cafeteria at 6:30pm… see Coach Brown for more details.

TAFE

There will be a TAFE meeting on Wednesday, November 14th at 3:30pm in A203. The meeting will include upcoming events and voting on t-shirts. We hope to see you there!

CHARACTER COUNTS

The Character Counts Club and Uncle Sam want you! Contribute items for our troops (Birdville Alum) in Iraq. Deadline is Nov. 16th… drop off C202 (Ms. Ramsey/ Mrs. Hampton). Needed items: Ritz crackers/wheat thins, gum, soup-ready to eat, zip-lock baggies, coffee, phone cards, sun block, chap stick, baby-wipes, power bars, canned meat, trail mix, boxed cookies, canned chili, ravioli, spaghetti-o’s, candy bars, pop-tarts, canned fruit, fruit rollups, rice crispy bars, graham crackers, hot chocolate mix, crystal lite singles, kool aid singles (pre sweetened) playing cards, disposable cameras, headphones, pens, envelopes, stationary, personal size DVD players, music cd’s, movies, batteries- AA/AAA, hand held video games, model car or airplane kits, crossword puzzles, yo-yo’s dominoes, Frisbees, small stuffed animals, current sport magazines, board games, baseballs, gloves.

FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

Our HAWKS are in the playoffs! They face Wichita Falls High School at Memorial Stadium in Wichita Falls this Friday at 7:30pm! Come make a road trip and support our HAWKS!!!

PEP RALLY

There’s a special “Playoff Pep-Rally” this Friday morning at 7:45am in the gym! Be there and be LOUD!!!

MATH AND SCIENCE TEAM

For those of you who ordered a math and science t-shirt, bring $12 dollars to Mrs. Mitchell’s room, D105, and pick up your shirt Wednesday.

BOYS SOCCER TRYOUT INFO

All boys interested in trying out for the boys soccer team need to meet with Coach Staples on Thursday, November 15th at 7:30am in room C205. If you are unable to make the meeting, please contact Coach Staples before that date. Tryouts will begin Monday, November 26th.

NEEDLEWORK CLUB

The needlework club will meet Thursday afternoon in C104 after school.
