PARKING ISSUES FOR A.M. PEP RALLY
Parking could definitely be an issue for the Pep Rally tomorrow… especially if you have a reserved parking spot. We will have several visitors that will attend the pep rally tomorrow and chances are they might park in your reserved spot.
There is one simple solution: Get here early and be at the pep rally and you’ll definitely have your usual parking space! Otherwise, please understand that you might have to park in a different spot tomorrow morning.
Thanks for your understanding.
MATH AND SCIENCE TEAM
For those who ordered T-shirts, if you have not already, bring $12 to Mrs. Mitchell’s room, D105 by Monday the 19th.
BIRDVILLE ACADEMIC NEWS
Thank you to all who helped with the first Birdville Brain Bender Invitational Academic Meet last Saturday. The 20 schools and over 450 students who were at our school had a great day. We are proud of all of our students who volunteered to help. We could not have done it without you. Birdville will host the District Meet in April when our teams will compete as well.
FOOTBALL ANNOUNCEMENT
Don’t forget… wear your “western wear” tomorrow because our varsity football team is going to take down the Coyotes in Wichita Falls on Friday.
We will have a Pep Rally on Friday morning at 7:45am in the big gym. Come to school early tomorrow because we need a big turnout!
Also, for those of you making the road trip to Wichita Falls on Friday evening for the big game (which is hopefully everyone), we are going to “turn the lights out” on Wichita Falls. We are going to do this by having everyone turn on their headlights as they travel to Wichita Falls and once we get there… turn ‘em off!
Have a great day HAWKS!!!
CHRISTMAS PROVIDERS
Every year, we provide 150+ boxes to the “less fortunate” kids at our feeder schools filled with various, everyday items that are needed. We want to be able to provide for these kids again but in order to do so we need everyone’s help.
We are asking for simple, everyday items, that are easy to bring and cheap to buy. The items for this week are: SOAP & SHAMPOO.
