UIL SOCIAL STUDIES
The UIL Social Studies Team will meet in room C304 on Tuesday, January 8th at 7:50 or 3:30.
SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL TICKETS
Tickets are now on sale for Seussical the Musical to be performed in our BHS Theatre on Thursday, January 24 through Sunday, January 27th. Come see the Broadway production of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters by the BHS Fine Arts students. Performance start at 7:30pm for Thursday through Saturday and 2:30pm on Sunday. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, and $12 for reserved seating. You can buy tickets before and after school at the table in the main entrance lobby or at lunches. Or you can order tickets from any cast or crew member.
LIBRARY INFO
All library books are due today, Thursday, January 3rd. Please return all books and pay your library fines. The fee and fine list for semester tests will be made soon, and a late book or fine will cause you to be on that list.
MATH TEAM
The Math Team will meet this coming Monday at 3:30pm in room D305. Please make plans to attend as we prepare for our next invitational meet.
NEEDLEWORK CLUB
The Needlework Club will meet this afternoon (Thursday) in C104.
PARKING INFO
Anyone wishing to acquire a parking pass needs to first pick up a Parking Contract from Mrs. Carter’s office across from the cafeteria, take it home, fill it out and have it signed by your parents. This has to be taken care of first before you begin the process of acquiring a parking pass.
SATURDAY SCHOOL & MAKE-UP TIME
The next two Saturday’s make-up time will be from 8 – 2pm. We will be making announcements clarifying the changes and also asking that students sign up with you if they are planning on attending so we can get an estimate on how many we are going to have… hopefully a lot!
Students need to bring a sack lunch… they will not be permitted to leave campus or use a microwave.
Remaining make-up time:
After school d-halls through Jan. 16th
Jan. 17th and 18th – 1 to 3 pm. (after finals)
Saturday – Jan. 12th and Jan. 17th – 8 to 2pm.
Students need to sign-up with their assistant principal for the Saturdays so we know how many are coming and can have enough staff members on hand.
