SWIMMING

Congratulations Mighty Hawk Swim Team for your excellent performance at the District 6-4A Swimming and Diving Championships!  The following swimmers qualified to advance to the regional swim meet to be held on Feb. 8 & 9 in Ft. Worth. 

The Girls Medley Relay consisting of Rachel Grienke, Jennifer Greene, Angela Andrus, and Macey Butler.

The Boys Medley Relay that includes Billy Nickell, Josh Bland, Stephen Hoerig, and Parker Devlin.

Qualifying in Individual Events were: Stephen Hoerig in the 100 yard Backstroke and Angela Andrus in the 100 Freestyle and the 50 Freestyle.

Angela was a medalist in the 50 Free, earning a bronze medal for her third place finish.

Congratulations regional qualifiers!

ASL

ASL Club will be meeting on Wed. Jan. 30^th at 7:50am.  The deadline for the t-shirts will be this Wed. Jan. 30^th.  Please buy your shirts soon!!!

GYMNASTICS

The Lady Hawks gymnastics team placed 3^rd Friday night, against Richland & San Angelo Central.  Senior Alicia Panek placed 2^nd bars & floor, 3^rd all around & beam & 4^th vault.  Junior Kristy Peterson placed 4^th bars, 5^th beam & 6^th floor & all around.  Senior Amy Zimmerman 6^th beam.  On the boys side, Robert Enriquez placed 5^th vault, 6^th high bar & all around.

RAWKIN’ HAWKS

Anyone interested in trying out for Rawkin’ Hawks:  There will be an interest meeting in Mr. Waldrip’s room – D106, on Thursday at 3:30pm.  The application process will be discussed as well as the timeline for tryouts.
